Middleton At Dusk

On the Road

I had just purchased a new Konica/Minolta camera, and was testing out the low light feature.

I especially liked the way I could capture automobile headlights and other street lights at dusk, while still seeing the streets and buildings.  The camera became another tool in my arsenal of reference photos for painting. This unusual view is taken from the ridge which runs through the town of Middleton.  It’s the only hill in the area, so I often saw driver’s education cars with their student drivers trying to park on this hill.  It is also the only street that receives regular salt deposits in winter.
